Informace o produktu
Tactical Bayonet MK.I from Mikov was developed in collaboration with CZUB and the Czech Army, specifically by Major Roman Hippík, the designer of several recent knives intended for military and police units. This knife is partially inspired by the UTON vz. 75 combat knife. For example, similar to the UTON, the MK.I’s saw and file can be slotted into the bayonet’s nut.
The blade is made of 1.4034 stainless steel, with a thickness of 4.8mm and a hardness of 58 HRC. It features a saber grind with a false edge, converging to a centered point. The blade is coated with DLC, which is known for its high hardness, extreme slipperiness, and abrasion resistance. Additionally, it has low light reflectivity—below 4%—minimizing the chance of detection from glare.
The handle is crafted from extremely durable ZYTEL. Its ergonomic shape promotes a secure grip, while the textured surface ensures firm handling even in adverse conditions. The guard and pommel are made from 1.8159 spring steel, hardened to 35-40 HRC. The guard is designed for close combat protection and prevents the hand from slipping toward the blade. Like the blade, it also features a DLC coating. The pommel allows for accessory attachment (saw and file) or mounting onto a firearm (Bren 2 with a 14" barrel).
The knife comes with a self-locking Kydex sheath, suitable for belts up to 5cm wide or MOLLE webbing. The sheath’s material is durable, low-maintenance, and has space for accessory storage.
